Enthusiasts of computer hardware will certainly be interested in the new design, although its purchase involves spending absolutely no money.

GeForce GTX 1080 – new king of performance

The tests carried out by the portal show that the performance of the GTX 1080 is really very high. It’s a card that handles virtually every game in high-resolution settings and resolutions of 1920 x 1080 pixels and 2560 x 1440 pixels. The hardware is also unrivaled in 4K, though it’s still not a card that will provide at least 60 fps in every game. Another issue is that the minimum liquidity of 30 fps is basically retained everywhere, which previously was not available any available construction on the market.

GeForce GTX 1080 is the first card in the market to offer GDDR5X memory. These bones are characterized by higher performance than the GDDR5 used for years. The new green card has been prepared with the idea of virtual reality technology, where it should expand its wings. It is not known today that the VR requires the enormous computing power that the GTX 1080 is capable of providing.

GeForce GTX 1080 only for wealthy people wallets

Of course, the high performance of GeForce GTX 1080 cards is also associated with a relatively high price. The suggested retail price for Founders Edition, which is just a reference design, is $ 900. Importantly, there will also be models with cooler models that will be significantly cheaper than before. In their case, the amount of about $ 750 is not impossible at all.

Other titles will gain AMD Mantle support

Over the past few years, AMD has had to endure Nvidia’s dominance in the graphics card market and its superiority, but the situation has changed with the advent of AMD Mantle, which is slowly gaining market share. It has just announced its service in new titles, which could make Radeons attractive again in the eyes of players.

VideoCardz has published the latest listing of titles that support this technology. Some of the items listed on this site are already well-known players, but there are also some new ones that promise great hits.

The breakdown is divided into three groups: those available on the market that will soon be available in stores, and titles for which Mantle support has not yet been officially confirmed, although their manufacturers are part of the AMD beta program.

Beta games do not have to support Mantle, though many players would rather do it because there are many cool titles on the list. They will certainly support the AMD Gaming Evolved program, but Mantle could be more attractive, especially since the titles include Grand Theft Auto V, Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfware, and Sleeping Dogs: Triad Wars. Especially in the case of Rockstar’s latest production, Mantle’s service would be very profitable for AMD.

The good news, however, is that in the production group that will definitely operate Mantle, there are Star Citizen, Sims 4, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Mass Effect and Star Wars Battlefront.
